Horndean

Horndean is a large village in East Hampshire district, lying on the A3 corridor approximately 4 miles north of Waterlooville. It sits in the PO8 postcode and has its own distinct commercial and residential identity, including a local shopping centre and a range of independent businesses.
The village is best known locally for Gales Brewery, which operated in Horndean from 1847 until 2006 when it was acquired by Fuller's — the site has since been redeveloped for housing. Horndean Technology College is one of the secondary schools serving the wider Waterlooville area.
Despite being in a different district (East Hampshire rather than Havant Borough), Horndean functions as part of the Waterlooville catchment for retail and services and shares strong community links with the wider area.
