Widley

Widley is a small residential area in Havant Borough, Hampshire, situated between Purbrook and Cosham in the PO7 postcode. It is one of the quieter parts of the wider Waterlooville catchment, with a predominantly residential character and easy access to the A3 and Portsmouth beyond.

The area is part of the Purbrook and Widley ward for council purposes and shares local services and businesses with the neighbouring Purbrook community. Fort Widley — a 19th-century Palmerston Fort on Portsdown Hill — overlooks the area and is a local landmark offering views across Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent on clear days.
