Featured Profile and Category Sponsor: the terms

Featured Profile: £149 a year

Your text, photos, links and offer go live on your page automatically when you send them from your confirmation page. Your feature article is written from your own description and your public Google reviews, and nothing else: we don’t add prices, awards or claims you haven’t made.

Category Sponsor: £49 a month

• ✓Category exclusivity: no competitor can buy it while you hold it
• ✓Tagged in your category’s countdown Reel on our Facebook page (labelled Sponsored; never changes the ranking)
• ✓Monthly email: Google views of those pages, and clicks on your slot

One sponsor per category. If the category is already taken you can join the waitlist instead, and no payment is taken. The slot is filled from your business page (name, Google rating, phone and your website or booking link) and is always labelled “Sponsored”. If your category doesn’t have a best-of guide yet, the slot runs on the category and village pages, and goes on the guide when we publish one.

Category Spot: £149 for 12 months

The same single slot per category as the Category Sponsor, so only one business can hold a category at a time, whichever way it was bought. Renews yearly at £149 until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from the link on your confirmation page; you keep everything until the end of the 12 months you’ve paid for. The Spotlight Reel is delivered within 14 days of us receiving your photos, and is always labelled as a paid partnership / #ad. Paying never changes a ranking, and the slot is always labelled “Sponsored”. See which categories are free.

Headline Sponsor: £149 a month, 3-month minimum

One business at a time. Headline Sponsor has a minimum term of 3 months from the date you buy it: if you cancel before then, the slot and the sponsored strip stay live (and billing continues) until the 3 months are up, then it ends as normal. After that, it renews monthly and you can cancel any time.

Facebook Page Sponsor: £99 a month

• ✓YouTube and TikTok coming soon — not currently included
• ✓One business at a time — the slot is exclusive while you hold it

One business at a time, no minimum term. Covers our Facebook page only — we don’t currently run YouTube or TikTok for Waterlooville.co, so nothing is posted there.

Headline + Page Sponsor: £199 a month

Headline Sponsor and Facebook Page Sponsor together, billed as one subscription. The 3-month minimum term above applies to the Headline Sponsor side of the bundle.

Business Spotlight Reel: £99, one-off

• ✓Delivered within 14 days of us receiving your photos
• ✓One-off payment — not a subscription, nothing to cancel

Not a subscription — you pay once and there is nothing to cancel. After payment you send us photos and a short brief; we deliver the finished video within 14 days of receiving those photos (not from the date of payment). It is posted to our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and always clearly labelled as a paid partnership / advert (ASA/CAP rules on labelling apply to us, not to any claim about your business). Buying a Reel never changes any ranking on our best-of guides.

Renewal

A Featured Profile renews automatically every year at £149. A Category Sponsorship, Headline Sponsor, Facebook Page Sponsor and the bundle all renew automatically every month (£49, £149, £99 and £199 respectively). Stripe emails a receipt each time. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it; if it still can’t be taken, the subscription ends and the placement comes off.

How to cancel

Use the “Manage or cancel your subscription” link on your confirmation page (it is also in your monthly report email). It opens Stripe’s secure billing page, where you can cancel, update your card or download invoices. You can also message us and we’ll cancel it for you.

When you cancel, you keep everything until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. After that, your badge, your own text, photos and buttons, your feature article and any Sponsored slot are removed automatically, and your page goes back to the free listing built from public information.

Your content

Only send text and photos you own or have permission to use. We remove anything that is misleading, unlawful or inappropriate, and links are stripped from descriptions (your website and booking links have their own buttons). Your contact name and email are kept private and are never shown on the site. See our privacy policy.
