A significant number of police officers, along with an ambulance, are attending an address on London Road in neighbouring Horndean this afternoon. This is a developing situation.
A large emergency services presence has been reported on London Road in Horndean — just north of Waterlooville — this afternoon, Friday 25 July 2026.
Eyewitnesses at the scene describe a substantial number of police officers — around a dozen — together with an ambulance, attending a house on London Road opposite Keyells.
At this stage the reason for the response is not known, and no further details have been confirmed. We are not able to say what has taken place, and are reporting only what has been seen at the scene.
The incident is in neighbouring Horndean rather than Waterlooville itself, but London Road runs through both, and motorists and residents heading through the area may wish to allow extra time while emergency services are present.
