New carpet or a new floor is only as good as the person who fits it. Here are the flooring companies and carpet fitters that customers around Waterlooville rate most on Google.
We found 24 flooring companies and carpet fitters: 10 with a Waterlooville-area address (PO7 or PO8), and 14 with no shop address on their Google listing (usually fitters who come to you) that Google shows when you search for flooring in Waterlooville, Cowplain, Purbrook, Horndean, Denmead or Clanfield. We cannot tell where those firms are based, so ask whether they cover your street. For each one we pulled the live Google rating and review count, and the things customers mention most in their reviews. Every number is correct at the time of writing (9 October 2026).
How we ranked them: highest Google star rating first, with ties broken by number of reviews. Places with fewer than 20 reviews go after the rest, because a handful of five-star reviews isn’t a fair comparison with hundreds.

How we ranked them
1. Which places: every flooring company or carpet fitter on Google Maps with a Waterlooville-area postcode (PO7 and PO8), plus firms with no shop address on their listing that Google returned for a Waterlooville-area search. Firms with an address elsewhere are left out.
2. Order: Google star rating, highest first, with ties broken by review count. Places with fewer than 20 reviews are listed after the rest.
3. “Mentioned in X reviews”: these counts come from the review topics Google shows on each listing. We haven’t picked or edited them.
4. We don’t quote prices, because they change. Check with the business.
5. Nobody paid to be on this list, and nobody can pay to move up it. Palmer Flooring Contractors has a complimentary featured panel above the ranking; its position in the ranking is its own.
