Palmer Flooring Contractors, Portsmouth Flooring Fitters

Featured business. This is a complimentary featured placement on Waterlooville.co; the business has not paid for it. We wrote it from the business's own website and Companies House, and it does not change where any business appears in our guides. We have not contacted the business, and we have not checked its claims.

Who they are

Palmer Flooring Contractors, formerly Joe Palmer Flooring Specialist, is a family-owned flooring company based in Portsmouth. It is run by husband and wife Joe Palmer, Managing Director, and Danielle Palmer, Company Director. Companies House lists Palmer Flooring Contractors Ltd, company number 16821222, incorporated on 30 October 2025.

The business is not based in Waterlooville. Its website says it serves homes and businesses across Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, and some of its pages say Portsmouth and the South Coast. Waterlooville is about seven miles north of Portsmouth. We list the business here as a flooring firm that serves the wider area, not because it names Waterlooville itself.

These statements come from the business's own website and we have not verified them. It says Joe Palmer has over 20 years of experience in the flooring industry, and that Joe is accredited by the NICF, the National Institute of Carpet and Floorlayers. It also says it is rated 5/5 on Google. We could not check its Google listing, so we cannot tell you how many reviews sit behind that rating or when they were left.

Quotes

The business offers a free consultation and a no-obligation quote, in its own words. Whoever you ask, get the quote in writing, ask exactly what it covers (supply, fitting, removal of the old floor, preparation of the subfloor) and ask to see examples of similar jobs.
